So, you’ve decided to install a pool. Congratulations! Everyone needs a good place to relax, get a reprieve from the heat, enjoy time with friends or family, and soak in the sun. You may be wondering what is involved in pool construction.

What is Involved in Pool Construction?

Here is what you should expect for the steps to your pool construction process:

  1. Consult with our team at Stillwater Pools, Inc. for a consultation and to discuss your vision. This will include inspecting the yard, discussing designs, and creating a plan for the new pool. We will discuss water features, hardscaping, size, shape, and placement in the yard.
  1. We will acquire all necessary permits required by the city or county. Once we have those completed, we will lay out your plan to see the blueprint and size in the yard, and then begin digging the area for pool construction. This includes laying down necessary pipes and adding lighting, pumps, filters, etc. to check that everything is connected and functional.
  1. At this point, we are ready to pour the concrete. We will also stabilize it and form the shape using steel and rebar. Additionally, decorative tiles, designs, textures, and other elements will be installed as well. A seal will then cover the entire structure.
  1. Then, having passed all inspections for creating a pool oasis you have been hoping for, your pool construction will be nearly complete. We will fill the pool and add chemicals to treat the water, keep it clean, and make it safe for swimming. Now, you can enjoy it!

Our team at Stillwater Pools, Inc. is excited to join you on this journey to install a new pool. Call us for a consultation to discuss pool construction today, and get your oasis created as soon as possible.
